Events:

Logo Tyranny of Dragons begins in the town of Greenest. One fateful day, as Greenest is under attack, Shahvee and the Asbjorn happen upon another two wanderers in the plains surrounding Greenest. When the four discover that they have a mutual objective to reach Greenest (although all for varying, yet unspecified reasons), they decide to band together and travel to the burning city as a group.
Logo As the four wanderers approached Greenest, they encountered another Dragonborn, a member of the City Watch, dueling one of the cultists. The wanderers arrived as the Dragonborn struck the killing blow, and turned to greet them. He explained the current situation in Greenest, and the now five wanderers entered the city through the southern road.
Logo The five adventurers battled their way to the town's keep, and took shelter inside with the injured townsfolk. The wanderers then met the governor, Governor Nighthill, who beckoned to them, saying he required their help. Governor Nighthill tasked the wanderers with clearing out an old escape tunnel under the keep, as well as securing a sally port and taking as many prisoners as possible.
Logo The wanderers battled the culstists through the night, and with the help of the prisoners that were taken captive, the wanderers discerned the following information: The cultists that were attacking the town were members in a group called "The Cult of the Dragon," and they were pillaging and burninating the countryside to collect treasure to present to the Dragon Queen. In the morning, when the cultists had left the town, the Governor publically thanked the wanderers and awarded them with numerous devices to assist them.
Logo As the wanderers geared up to leave the town, they were approached by a young druid. The druid told the wanderers that his master, who had been studying and following the cultists on past raids, was missing, and that he had valuable information pertaining to the cultists' quest. With this information, the wanderers set off to track down the cultists and bring back the druid.
Logo The wanderes followed the trail of the cultists until they cam across a group of stragglers. Obscuring them with a heavy mist, the adventurers snuck in and did away with the tired group of kobolds and cultists. However, before dying, one of the cultists was interrogated, and gave up information about a rearguard waiting to ambush the group up ahead. The wanderers progressed down the trail and came up behind the rearguard, ambushing the ambushers.
Logo After heavy fighting, the rearguard was defeated and the wanderers moved on to the cultist camp, stealing cultist uniforms from the slaughtered cultists. The wanderers made it to the camp at dusk, and strolled into the camp dressed in cultist garb. The wanderers fell asleep in one of the tents, save for the gnome, who snuck out in the night.
Logo Searching for the prisoner (as well as anything shiny that he could get his hands on,) the gnome slit the throats of two men in the tent adjacent to the wanderers. After rumaging through their personal chests, the gnome woke up the third man, who snuck up behind the gnome and captured him. The gnome blasted the man with sacred flame, and the man fell to the ground, screaming in agony.
Logo This obviously attracted a lot of attention, and soon the gnome found himself surrounded. The gnome was soon discovered and taken out to be chained up in the prison tent. The wanderers stood watching in horror as the gnome was carted off to his doom.
Logo The wanderers followed the gnome to the prison and also let themselves be captured. Upon entering the tent, the wanderers recognized the lone prisoner already in the tent as the young druid's master. After some negotiation techniques and charismatic urination, the wanderers struggled out of their binds and snuck out of the camp. Upon their return to Greenest however, they learnt that the group of young druids had left for the city of Luskan in a hurry. The wanderers have no choice but to follow them there.
Logo The wanderers get caught up in a town called Beliard when, one cloudy night, they overhear an old halfling talking to an elvish woman outside of the tavern. The elvish woman is injured, and is rambling on about a chimera attack. Upon approaching the two, the town drunk stumbles out of the tavern and gets in the way of the wanderers. In his drunken stupor, he introduces himself as Bon Qui-Qui, the (once) wealthy nobleman of Waterdeep. He goes back to chugging whisky.
Logo Turning back to the elf and halfling, the wanderers approach and immediately inquire about current events. The old halfling explains that he grows a very...valuable crop just outside of town, and when he suspected danger nearby, he had hired this elven mercenary to keep watch over his fields. She had not been in the fields for a day before she came back half burned to death, and claiming that a chimera was on the loose in the field. Fearing for his crop and life's work, he pleads with the wanderers to kill the chimera, promising them 300 gold pieces in return.
Logo At this point, noticing the impending loss of a job, the elven woman butts into the conversation. It's just as she does this that the town drunk, out of no where, backhands her across the face (the nerve to speak when not spoken to, am I right?) and knocks her to her feet. After the elven woman recovers, she climbs to her feet and engages in a duel with the town drunk. She is sent off running after a series of punches to the face. As the wanderers were simply standing by and watching this all play out, they decide to invite the town drunk to come along with them to help defeat the chimera.
Logo The wanderers head out to the fields to get a look around when they encounter a brown bear and a small group of orcs engaged in a fight. They make quick work of each and then head back to town. The wanderers buy a few drinks and play a game of darts before heading to bed. The morning brings victory as the wanderers defeat the chimera in a battle in the field. Ben Dabbler, the halfling, thanks them for their help and hands them a 300 bon-bon bank note before waddling away. Obviously angered at this (as the bon-bon gold exchange rate is roughly 20 gold per 300 bon-bons), they chase Ben all the way back into the tavern where he is defended by the townsfolk. They alert the group that "bon-bons" are the town's currency that they use to exchange the...valuable crop that Ben grows.
Logo The wanderers exchange their bon-bons for 100 pounds of valuable crop and set off to smuggle it into a city. When arriving at Luskan however, they find the city in ruins. The entire outer section was destroyed and in flames, but the wanderers could see a single flag flying in the old town center. The adventurers make their way ot the town cetner to find a large amount of refugees from the town. The governor comes up and tells the group that the town was attacked by orcs, and the city managed to defeat them, but at great cost. The governor himself makes a deal with the adventurers to buy the valuable crop and distribute it to the devastated Luskanians for 500 platinum pieces over a period of 2 years. The adventurers agree, and hand over the valuable crop. As soon as the townspeople become aware of the valuable crop, they tear the mayor to pieces to get to it. (Thankfully the mayor had given the wanderers a signed contract beforehand.)
